Biography

Jane Hemperly was enumerated at The Twenty-ninth District, Fayette County, Georgia for the November 16, United States Census, 1850. She was noted as born 1834 in South Carolina as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are male Edward Hemperly, female Malinda Hemperly, male A S Hemperly, male Joel M Hemperly, female Nancy Hemperly, male Edward Y Hemperly and male Martin Hemperly.^[1]

Mary J Dodd was enumerated at Campbellton Post Office, Campbell County, Georgia for the June 26, United States Census, 1860. She was noted as born 1836 as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are male James T Dodd, male John M Dodd, female Nancy A Dodd and female Morgrett E Dodd.^[2]
