Thelma (Jamison) Gomez is a part of US Black heritage.

Thelma was the daughter of John Henry Jamison and Maggie Annie Ragland.

Living in 1910 with parents in Los Angeles.[1]

Aged 15 in 1920.[2]

In 1930 Thelma was a nurse in a private home, living with her mother Maggie Jameson at 718 Mateo Street. The Mateo Street neighborhood was then predominantly Mexican.[3]

In 1940 Thelma was living with her husband Alfonso Gomez. Alfonso was age 30, b. in California. He was a shipping clerk at a tire retread factory. Thelma was age 35, b. California. She was a registered nurse at Los Angeles County General Hospital. With them was Roderick A. Williams, race negro, listed as son of the head of household, age 6, born in New York. Also with them was Thelma's widowed mother Maggie A. Jamison, age 73, b. Texas.[4]
