Robert Jardine was born on 29 March 1922, at Mosman, New South Wales, Australia.[1] He was the son of Charles Burgess Jardine (1891-1981) and Doris Antoinette Oliver (1895-1985). He was a great great great grandson of convicts George Patfield (Neptune 1790), Mary O'Brien (Bellona 1793), Thomas Anlezark (Perseus 1802) and Ann Starmer (Experiment 1804). Thomas Anlezark became famous as a Trooper in the Vinegar Hill convict uprising of March 1804.
Aged almost 96 years, he passed away on 7 February 2018, at Victoria, Australia. Robert is buried at Springvale Botanical Cemetrey, Springvale, New South Wales, Australia.[2]
