Marie Madeleine Jean was born on 24 Dec 1707 and baptized the 27th in Notre-Dame-du-Bon-Secours parish of L'Islet, Canada, Nouvelle-France. Her parents were Pierre Jean and Marie Madeleine Prinseau. Godparents at the infant's baptism were Pierre Chouinard and Marie Madeleine Durand. The officiating priest was Leriche.[1]

Marie Madeleine Pierrejean married Pierre Gagnon, son of Jacques Gagnon and Marie Madeleine Rocheron, on 8 Nov 1729 in Notre-Dame-de-Liesse parish of Rivière-Ouelle. In the presence of known witnesses Jean François Gagnon, Louis Hudon and Jean Paradis. The celebrant priest was Maurice Imbault.[2]

Death and Burial
Madeleine Pierrejean, wife of Pierre Gagnon, passed away on 31 Oct 1772, no age listed on act. Her burial was the following day in Rivière-Ouelle, Province of Québec.[3][4]
