Biography

Peter Jenison, Jr. was born 27 March 1771 in Oxford, Worcester, Massachusetts of Peter Jenison and Mehitable Singletary.

Elizabeth Snow and Peter Jenison posted bonds on 1 Jan 1790 and were wed on 14 February in Charlton, Worchester, Massachusetts 25 miles from her home in Connecticut. They were known as "Godly people", members of the Methodist Episcopal Church.

Their first 5 children were born in Charlton, Worcester, Massachusetts:

They moved to Gainesville, Wyoming, New York in 1809 where

They reared their family of ten children, in addition to a child who died at birth unnamed.

Elizabeth died 1861 at the age of 91 years. Her burial was in the North Gainesville cemetery at Lot 23. 1 Jan 1790 Charlton, Worcester, Massachusetts, Peter does not appear to buried there.
