Biography
- Married Mary E. Bulkley, 9 Oct 1855. Mary's father was Charles Bulkley of Southport, CT
- Seafaring man, first setting out at age 15, and captaining his own vessel by 25. He sailed around the world at 28 and had many adventures. Retired from the sea in 1863.
