Biography

Albert Minor Jobes was born 30 March 1872 in Marshall County.[1] He was the son of Oliver Jobes and Martha J. Dayton.

He and Sarah Jane Vandyne had a daughter out-of-wedlock in 1892.[2]

He married Rosa Pearl Vandyne in 1904 in Wetzel County.[3]

Albert died on 23 September 1933 in Moundsville, Marshall County,[4] and he is buried there in the Fairview Cemetery.[5]

Ryan was Nellie’s (half) brother, and the two women identified themselves as first cousins of Nellie (both were daughters of Nellie's aunt, Frances Vandyne Marsh).
