Biography

Ernest was born in 1890.^[1] He was the son of Frederick John and Edith Davies.^[2]

In the 1911 census Cyril Johns (age 19) was a Private in the South Wales Borderers in Pretoria, South Africa.^[3][4]

He was discharged from the South Wales Borderers (service number 2/10484) due to disability on 30 September 1916.^[5]

Ernest was registered to vote in 1937 at 24 Greenway Gardens, Hendon, Middlesex.^[6]
