Benjamin was the son of Isaac and Abigail (Leavitt) Johnson
He married Ruth Holman, daughter of John and Ann (Quincy) Holman, on 6 Feb 1731/2 at Bridgewater, Plymouth, Massachusetts - parents of Ann, Ruth, Noah, Benjamin, Asa, Rhoda, Ebenezer, William and a second Benjamin Johnson
Probate
The will of Benjamin Johnson of Bridgewater, yeoman was dated 4 May 1767 and proved on 5 December 1768 in Plymouth. He mentions his son, William Johnson, his grandson Benjamin Richardson, son of his daughter Rhoda Richardson, decd. His friend John Orcut of Bridgewater was ordained executor.[1]
His inventory was taken on 6 December 1768 in Bridgewater.[2]
In 1770, an account of his estate by John Orcutt was recorded which included the sale of real estate, doctor in his last sickness, funeral charges, mending fences, and administration fees.[3]
