Roscoe William Johnson was born on May 14, 1918 in White, Tennessee, United States, son of William Henry Johnson (1872–1944) and Della May Broom (1886–1919).

Roscoe (26) married Pearlie Mae Bennett (23) (born on November 24, 1921 in White; daughter of Robert Payne Bennett and Mary Jane (Little) Bennett) on December 23, 1944 in White. ^[1]

In the 1920 census Rosco (age 1) was the son of William Johnson in Civil District 10, White, Tennessee, United States.^[2] William Johnson 48, wife Emma Johnson 45, son Joe Johnson 14, son Claud Johnson 12, son Burt Johnson 9, son Richard Johnson 6, son Rosco Johnson 1.

In the 1930 census Rosco (age 12) was the son of William Johnson in District 10, White, Tennessee, United States.^[3] William Johnson 58, wife Annie Johnson 52, son Joe R Johnson 23, son Bert Johnson 18, son Richard Johnson 15, son Rosco Johnson 12.

Roscoe died on February 12, 2000 in Sparta, White, aged 81. He was buried in Lost Creek Cemetery, White County, Tennessee.^[4][5]
