Biography

Edward lived with his parents and siblings until at least 1875; the 1880 census shows he was living in Cass, Dakota Territory, as head of household of a group of farm laborers, including his younger brother, Chester. He died in 1884 at age 31 and is buried in the family plot with his parents and a grand-nephew, Frank Edward Johnson at Elmwood Cemetery, Rockford, Wright County, Minnesota.
