Susie married James B. Kemp (born in 1840 in New Hampshire, United States; son of Russel Kemp and Hannah M. (Morrison) Fisk). Their son was Charles L. Kemp (1869– ).

In 1880, Susie was living in Orange, Vermont. ^[2]

Susie died on May 4, 1894 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, aged 49.
