Notes
Note N3Illinois Death Records index gives year of death as 1935. I believe this is a transcription error, as my mother always said Charles died during the terrible heat wave of 1936, and died in the year she married my father, also 1936. I checked this with the state records people, and they confirmed that it was an error, and should be 1936. It is still on some sites as 1935.
