Guy Johnson is a part of US Black heritage.

Guy was born about 1838 in Massachusetts.

He was the son of Flora and Gay Johnson, and the brother of Civil War veterans Norman and Nathaniel H. Johnson of the 54th Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry, the first regiment in the United States made up entirely of enlisted men of color.

Education

In 1850, he is attending school with his brothers Norman and Nathaniel, probably in or near Sheffield, Massachusetts.
