1876 - 9 Dec - mother Margaret 'Peg' Lyons dies. Son is 2 years old. His father, Felix Jr, sister Annie moves in to help care for the baby.

Felix Jr. (30) stone mason, Annie (sister)(22) Richard Felix (5). Annie moved in to care for little Richard Felix after death of mother Peg.
1881 - Father Felix Jr. dies of Typhoid Fever. Richard Felix is 7. Annie and her sister Nellie become his surrogate parents.
1894 - 1897 - Richard F (19-22) listed as student (per family records attended MIT) residing at 68 Harvard St. Brookline, MA.
Per Mary Johnson, Richard Felix went to MIT and was associated with Johnson Brothers Construction.
Note Father Felix Jr. had died when he was 7. Great Uncle Felix (brother of his father) had died 1892 when he was 18. Johnson Brothers at that time was being run by his uncles Patrick and Richard. .
1908 - Richard Felix (33) is treasurer at Holyhood Cemetary per city directory.
Per Mary E Johnson: After many years with Johnson Brothers, he was offered the position of Treasurer of Holyhood Cemetery by the Corporation in Boston. He brought their finances from ,000 to or 9,000,000 during the time of Cardinal Cushing. Cardinal Cushing commended him for the fine work

Note: Ricahrd Felix is now living with his 2 aunts at the Harvard St. house left by his grandmother Catherine when she died.
1914 - city directory - Ricahrd Felix (39) lsited as Treasurer Holyhood cemetery.
1918 - per WW1 records - working in civilian life at Holyhood Cemetary. Worked at the Army Supply Base in Boston.
1919 - death of Annie, his aunt who had raised him from the age of 2 following his mother's death.
1920 - 21 Jan - census - dwelling 68 Harvard St - family 447:
Ellen T (50), head, house owned free and clear, no occupation, Richard F nephew (45) is estimator of buildings at home.
Ellen is youngest daughter of Richard F's grandfather - Richard S McS Johnson. 68 Harvard St was the old Johnson family home per Mary Johnson.
1927 - Richard Felix listed as an Accountant living at 68 Harvard. Still working for Holyhood Cemetary. He was 52.
1930 - 2 April - census - dwelling 68 Harvard St - family 12:
Richard (55) head, home is owned worth ,000, Treasurer-cemetary, Nellie T (65) (Ellen T) aunt - no occupation.
1942 - death of Ellen T 'Nellie' Johnson, his aunt - who with her sister Annie raised Richard from age of 2.
Richard is 67 at time of her death. 68 Harvard St is left to him.
1945 - Died of Viral Pneumonia and was buried in his Grandfather's lot (Richard S and Mary Etta) in Holyhood Cemetery.
per Mary E Johnson:
Richard Felix never married. He left the 68 Harvard Ave house to Leo (his cousin). Also left Mary E Johnson (cousin) 00 in his will. Their mutual aunts (sisters of their fathers) Annie and Nellie who had cared for him were already deceased and the only other surviving uncle was Patrick and his family.
Note: I believe that Mary's recollection was incorrect. I believe Felix Jr was the son of Richard Sr. and NOT Felix Sr. He would have worked with his uncle and cousins at that firm as his father would have died when he was 7.
