Biography
Harrison was the son of Calvin Johnson and Mary Hitchcox. He worked for a millwright while in Livingston County. Later becoming a farmer, he and his wife Sarah had three children: Calvin A., Thomas Ben F., and Tracy W.[1],[2] He was a veteran of the Civil War, with Co D 53rd Pa Inf Vol. He died of burns on his sickbed when a match used to light his pipe accidentally ignited mosquito netting.[3]
