Biography
Bertha was born about 1870. She was the daughter of Robert Johnstone and Alice Amyes.
After her mother’s untimely death, she was raised by the Hamilton family, relatives of her step-mother.
She married Joseph Hamilton in 1888. They had five children together. She passed away in 1941.
