Kisiah Jolley Jolley was born 1771 in Dinwiddie County, Virginia Colony. She married James Jolley on July 19, 1798 in Orange County, North Carolina, USA. [1]Both Kisiah's and James' parents are unknown still after much research.

Kisiah died 1869 in Boiling Springs, Cleveland County, North Carolina, United States and was buried at Durham Cemetery, Boiling Springs, Cleveland County, North Carolina, USA.[2] Her husband, James, was buried in the Jolley Cemetery. Kisiah had specifically stated that she did not want tone buried with her family in the family cemetery.
Note: James' and Kisiah's parents last names are spelled Jolly on their grave markers but is spelled Jolley on the book about them. Even their children differ in how they spelled the last name.
