Julia Francis Jones was born in 1850 in Philadelphia. She was the daughter of Robert Jones and Elizabeth Durham. The family lived in Philadelphia.[1][2]
In 1870, Julia was a school teacher and still lived with her parents in Philadelphia.[3]
She is not found in her parents' household in the 1880 enumeration, but is still living with them and her other unmarried siblings in 1900.[4]
In 1910, after the death of her parents, Julia, teacher, is living in Philadelphia with her siblings Robert, Emma Cecilia, David and Sarah.[5] In 1920 she was living with her sisters Sarah and Cecilia and a cousin, Caroline Le Count.[6]
