DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Mosias by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Mosias:

We now know that Elizabeth Rogers born in York Co. VA is not his wife. All they had on his DAR application was that his wife was named Elizabeth without a surname being documented.
You are correct, the DAR database lists Mosias JONES' wife as Elizabeth MNU. This doesn't "disprove" his wife was Elizabeth ROGERS.

I have his DAR application papers. However, his line has now been flagged by DAR. Just guessing I think it is because he never lived in Albemarle Co. VA. It looks like an entirely different Mosias Jones. However, we can't get to the DAR corrections file to see what the actual problem is.

The DAR has "flagged" DAR Patriot #A036942, Mosias JONES, with a simple statement that reads there is a discussion of the lineage in the July 2021 data correction file.

This indicates that the DAR's Genealogy Office has a corrections file on this patriot. He is still a patriot open to DAR membership with valid service. The data correction files are the working files of the corrections team and are NOT available to the public due to the sometimes sensitive nature of the contents (living people).

Jones-16133 and Jones-35000 appear to represent the same person because: WikiTree is supposed to be a single tree system. So no duplicates.

This appears to be the same person. Same vitals. Please if there is a reason to reject this merge, let me know why.
