Biography

Nancy Jane Jones was born on May 28, 1838, in Randolph, Missouri, her father, Martin Mitchell Jones, was 32, and her mother, Elizabeth Caroline Wallce, was 19. She married William Henry Walden on October 29, 1857, in Davis, Iowa. They had four children during their marriage. She died on April 22, 1934, in Milan, Kansas, at the age of 95, and was buried in McPherson, Kansas.
