Note: Tim worked at the Peanut Mill in Brady. He then worked for Swift in Houston. Tim filled out his draft registration papers for World War II but his draft number was not selected. He then went to the ship yards in Houston during World War II. After the war, he returned home and was with Farmer's and Rancher's Co-op until his retirement. Tim's mother, Lillie Mae Brown had a brother named Andy Marion, possibly the A.M. came from that name. Sherry Bettis (daughter of A.M) said that she and her mother never knew what A.M. stood for. Everyone always called him "Tim". (Tim) Jones, 71, manager of the old Farmers and Ranchers Co-op for 31 years, died at 4:50 a.m. Wednesday in a local nursing home. 2 Services were held at 3 p.m. Thursday in Rudel and Sons Memorial Chapel with Stanley Maiden, minister of the Sunset Ridge Church of Christ, officiating.
