Biography

Note that his middle name is most often given as Dwelly, but his mother's birth name was Dwelley, and some trees use Dwelling.

Also note that son Charles L Josselyn, born 16 May 1850 appeared in the 1850 census in September, but may have died young, since a Charles L. Josselyn with the same parents who married some years later was born about 1856. It may be more likely that it was a single person, since the 1910 census gives an estimated birth in 1851 for the surviving Charles L. Josselyn.
