Research Notes
On August 13, 1682, Richard Tydings of Anne Arundel County was issued a Maryland Warrant for 350 acre for transportation of John Jordan, David Owen, Joshua Howler, Thomas Fitzwater, Elizabeth (llegible), Thomas Mackrell and Charity Tydings. Transportation was proved by Richard Tydings on October 9, 1682. Maryland Warrant Record, 1681-1685, WC 4:i, p. 249 Available here The fact that the warrant issued in 1682 may not reflect that the transport was earlier.
Could this be the John Jordan or Jourdain who married Richard's daughter Charity Tydings?
