Note: This profile seems intended to represent the woman who was the wife of Johan Jacob Weaver (abt.1678-) of Herkimer County, New York, and not Anna Elizabeth (Weber) Weaver (1683-), who was the wife of Jacob Weber (abt.1678-1753), who moved from New York to Amity, Pennsylvania. No evidence has been found yet that her last name at birth was Jung, or that she had a daughter named Eva Maria. She has been added as the wife of Weaver-4531 and the mother of his children, and the profile for Weber-1804 has been disconnected from hers.

Research Notes

The Loyalist Gazette, Vol. LIX No. 1 Spring 2021 includes an article on p. 23 regarding an Amendment to The Weavers of the Mohawk and St. Lawrence Valley, written by Bob Weaver. According to the article, the Amendment corrects two errors in the original book (referenced below in Sources). The first error was that the original book combined two different early Palatine immigrants, both named Jacob Weber/Weaver, as well as their wives and children. The second error was that some children were incorrectly attributed to one of the families. The article states that those interested in the Amendment should contact Bob Weaver, and provides his email address.
