Biography

Barbara Kagy (aka Kagey) was born October 14, 1788, in New Market, Shenandoah county, a daughter of Rudolph Kagey. Barbara married John Blosser, son of Peter Blosser and Magdalene (Bear) Blosser. Twelve children of Barbara and John are identified on Barbara's Find A Grave memorial, which also says that John and Barbara were buried on the family farm. Years later, when the farm was sold, the graves were found in disrepair. Eventually, John Barbara and possibly all of their children were moved to the churchyard of the Midway Mennonite Church, where they share the new monument, shown here: https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/71007638/barbar-blosser#view-photo=46916287
