Biography
Mathias Kalmès was born in Belgium on May 11, 1875.[1][2]
He took his first vows with the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate in 1896, his perpetual vows in 1897, and his ordination in 1901.[3]
Father Mathias Kalmès died in Fort Frances, Ontario,[3] on 2 November 1939.[2] He is buried in the St Boniface Oblate Fathers' Cemetery in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
