Biography
Jacob Kapp was born on Sept 24, 1854 in Rheinpfalz, Baden, Germany.
He married Lena Schmedlie (Schmitler) in 1894 at Breese, Clinton, Illinois. Her parents were August Schmitler and Barbara Barthge. Jacobs parents were John Kapp and Mary Anna Hulta.[1]
Together they became the parents of Rose Marie (Kapp) Robben.
He passed away on June 29, 1911 and is buried at Saint Dominic & Saint Augustine Catholic Cemetery in Breese, Clinton Co., Illinois. [2]
