Edd J. Kearyb, 85, of 2613 McKinley in Fort Worth, died Friday in Glen Rose.
Funeral will be at 3 pm Saturday at the Cotton-Bratton Funeral HOme in Weatherford with burial in Clark Cemetery.
Kearby was a Parker County native and had lived in Weatherford for 50 years prior to moving to Fort Worth. He was a former Parker County deputy sheriff. he also was a verteran of World War I, member of the American Legion and a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Hattie Maryland Kearby; two sons, Jack Kearby of Haltom City and XX Kearby of Richland Hills; a daughter, Dot Kearby Allen of Fort Worth; three brothers, John Kearby and Lanier Kearby, both of Weatherford, and R.B. Kearby of Ingleside; a sister, Marie Vick of Weatherford; and 12 grandchildren.
