Biography

Mary Keene was born around 9 Dec 1705 to Ephraim Keen (AKA Ephrem Cane or Cain) and Hannah Sprout, who were married 1 Apr 1703 at Scituate, Massachusetts.^[1] Mary was baptized at Scituate on 19 Dec 1708.

She married James Edminster Jr. in 1733. According to Vital Records of Freetown, Massachusetts, 1686-1793, pages 39-40[1], seven children were the issue of this marriage:

1. James Edminster III (b. 23 Mar 1734)
2. Mary Edminster (b. 6 Apr 1736)
3. Noah Edminster (b. 2 Feb 1739)
4. Hope Edminster (b. 12 May 1741)
5. Job Edminster (b. 24 May 1743)
6. John Edminster (b. 18 Dec 1746)
7. Zebedee Edminster Sr. (b. Mar 1748)

Mary (Keene) Edminster is presumed to have died before May 1752.
