Biography
It is interesting that the 1910 census lists Emanuel KEFFER with his wife Mary Jane (Molly O'GAR), and also with a "niece" Mary C. SHUMAR. Mary Jane is listed as having born 13 children, with only 5 still alive. I don't know if this is 13 children between both husbands. If it is, I can account for all the children who are still alive - the four children of Emanuel KEFFER listed in the census (Levi, Lloyd, Harrison, and Hilda), and Mary Agnes, who was married to John W. KEFFER.
I can't identify Mary C. SHUMAR, listed with Emanuel and Mary Jane.
