Biography

Sarah was born in 1859 to Stephen C. Keffer and Martha E. (Taylor) Keffer . In 1860 she is recorded as “S M” aged 7 months in their household in Sinking Creek, Craig, Virginia. ^[1] She married George Edward Wallace 10 Nov 1877 in Virginia, and they moved to Texas soon thereafter. ^[2] She passed away in 1878, soon after the birth of her first child, Laura Blanche (Wallace) Talley.
