Biography

Hannah was born about 1820. She was the daughter of John Keffer and Jane Moriarty. She passed away in 1899.

I can't find Hannah or her children in the 1850 or 1860 censuses. She had two children in the 1840 census - a boy aged 5-10 and a girl aged 0-5. The girl is likely Catherine, who was named in John G. KEFFER's will. The boy may have died, since he was not named, or he may have been old enough to be considered on his own.

Hannah had a son, Alexander B. KEFFER, who she was listed with in 1870 and 1880. He was born in 1846, but, like Hannah, I cannot locate him in 1850 or 1860. Hannah is listed as his mother on his 1910 death certificate, but no father is named.

Hannah's death date is from Eugene Keffer's Genealogy.
