In 1881 Mary was living at Oak Cottage, Kinnoull with her husband and five of their children. [3]
In 1891 Mary was living at Front Street, Bridge of Earn with her husband, two of their children and two grand daughters. They also employed a domestic servant. [4]
In 1901 Mary was living at St Albans, Craigie Road, Perth with her husband, two children and two grand daughters. [5]

In both 1891 and 1901 Peter and Mary had two grand daughter living with them. These were:
