Biography

John Reid Kelly had no children, but he left as a lasting legacy the compilation of the basic data of the extensive genealogy of three generations of the descendants of his ancestors Truman and Phoebe (Wolcott) Pettibone. Hilda (Kelly) Nelson, who had previously copied the names and vital data of the Joab Kelly Family from the Pettibone-Wolcott Family Bible, mailed the Joab Kelly data to Kathryn S. Pontius February 9, 1970. At that time she said the Family Bible was in the possession of Willett Pettibone's son J47465'1 V2 Albert Pettibone, who then lived in Port Clinton, Ohio^[1]
