She was a member of the Senior Class at Southwest Baptist Church in Okla. City, OK. She worked at Pop Hicks Restaurant in Clinton, OK before moving to Okla. City where she worked at Cattlemen's Restaurant in Stockyard City. She retired from Sheplers Western Wear. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, and stepmother, Nancy Kendall; husband, Lester George Summit; sons Eddie & Billy Don Summit; 4 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; 3 sisters. She is survived by son, Lester Lee Summit of Canyon Country, CA; daughters, Colleen Stricklen and husband Ray of Blanchard, OK, Kay O'Dell & husband Lewis of Okla. City, Linda Sue Kindrick of Yukon, OK; 12 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren; brothers, Jack Kendall & wife Betty of Midwest City, OK, Elywn Kendall & wife Betty of Lodi, CA & many nephews, nieces, and friends. She was a loving & caring mother, grandmother, and friend. She went to be with the Lord on 12/1/07 and will be missed by family and friends. Services are 10AM, Wednesday 12/5/07 at the funeral home chapel. Interment will be 3PM, Wed., 12/5/07 at Silent Home Cemetery in Roll, OK.
