Biography
Based on the 1891 Canada Census[1], Jessie Kennedy was born around 1830 in Nova Scotia. She was the daughter of John "Red" Kennedy, native of Canna, Lochaber, Scotland, and Elizabeth "Leish Ruadh" Fraser. She married Donald Beaton, "Domhnull Iain 'ic Fhionnlaidh," the eldest son of John Beaton, Esq. and Mary MacDonald. They had many children together:[2]
