Ralph David Kennedy, 62, of Huntsville, passed away on November 2, 2010, at his home.

Born October 15, 1948, he was preceded in death by his father, Richmond Kennedy; father- and mother-in-law, L.C. and Bertha Phillips; and brothers- and sister-in-law: Austin Phillips, L. C. Phillips, Jr., Bud Phillips, and Rochell Phillips.

Ralph was a wonderful husband, father, father-in-law, and grandpa. He was loved by everyone who knew him and was a member of the Black Oak Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Myrtle Phillips Kennedy of Huntsville; sons: Jeff Kennedy and wife, Missie, Shane Kennedy and wife, Vanessa, all of Robbins, Brad Kennedy and wife, Karissa, of Oneida, and Gabriel Kennedy of Huntsville; mother, Violet Kennedy; eight grandchildren, sister, Charlene Hughett and husband, Woodrow; brothers: Ray Kennedy and wife, Regina, of Huntsville, and Randy Kennedy and wife, Tammy, of Oneida; sisters- and brothers-in-law: Bernice and Bert Jones of Fairfield, Ohio, Cara Sue and Jerry Willard Thompson of Huntsville, Diana and David Newport of Clinton, Edith Rector of Abington, Va., Defoe and Sue Phillips of Westchester, Ohio, Denzil and Sandra Phillips, and Dana and Marilyn Phillips, all of Huntsville, and Ervin and Lila Phillips of Helenwood; several nieces and nephews, and many other relatives.
