Biography
On February 12, 1804, John Kennedy (of Sidney) married Phebe Couch daughter of George Adams Couch and Annie (Reed) Couch.
John and Phebe had five children, before he died in 1814. Their son, John Kennedy was born September 20, 1805. John, Jr. married Melinda Bean on April 3, 1835.
John, Sr's will was probated in June, 1814, leaving his estate to Phebe Kennedy and her children George Kennedy, Sarah Ann Kennedy, Fanny S. Kennedy, and Abigail Kennedy, "minors under the age of 14."
After John's death, Phebe married Reuben Bean, the son of Joshua Bean, born in Gilmanton, New Hampshire, on June 13, 1774
