Biography
Charles Kerr was born in 1826, he was the son of a Helen Sloan, [1]
Charles, a Weaver, married Isabella Lyon in Ayr in 1847, [2]
Charles and Isabella had eleven children, i.e., seven sons and four daughters; Charles Robb 1847, Isabella Robb 1849, John Lyon 1852, Mary Lyon 1855, Janet Lyon 1856, John Lyon 1858, Francis 1860, Annie Lyon 1863, James Wilson 1865, William Forwell 1867, and Robert 1870.
Charles then a Gas Work Stoker, passed away in 1881 in Canongate, Edinburgh, age 56[3]
