33 THE KEYSER FAMILY.
Pieter Dirck Keyser the then surviving child of our first ancestor here, and the ancestor of the whole family now living, was born in Amsterdam, November 25th, 1676, and was twelve years of age on his arrival. He married when twenty-four years of age, Margaret Souplis (Sieplie, afterward written), daughter of Andreas Souplis, a Burgher of New York, and lived twenty-four years thereafter; he died, leaving a widow and numerous family.*
  • His eleventh child Margareth (Margaret) Keyser after her mother. She married Cornelius Conrads of Cresheim.
