Eliza (Killick) Carley was born in Wandsworth, Surrey, England.

Eliza Killick was born in the third quarter of 1860 in Wandsworth, Surrey, England to John Killick and Charlotte Young.^{[1] [2]} She was baptised on 14 Sep 1861 at Summers Town, Wandsworth.^[3]

When she was young, she lived with her parents in Wandsworth and then Southborough, Kent.^{[4] [5]}

By 1881, she had left home and was living in Southborough, Kent working as a general servant for an attorney.^[6] In 1891 she was living in Tunbridge working as a cook for a retired farmer.^[7] She cannot be located on the 1901 census at this time. In 1911, she was living in Islington, London working as a cook.^[8]

Eliza married Charles Carley on 15 Apr 1912 at St Peter's church in Southborough, Kent.^{[9] [10]} They did not have any children.

They settled in East Ham where Charles had been living.^[2]

Eliza Carley died in the third quarter of 1929 in the district of Tonbridge in Kent.^[11] She was 69 years old.
