She married William Andrew Collis about 1878. [2]

- COLLIS - KING - on the 1st of May at Winteringham Cottage, the residence of the bride's father, by the Rev. F.W. Isitt; William Andrew eldest son of Mr W. Collis of New Plymouth to Lydia Naomi, fifth daughter of Mr. W.R. King also of New Plymouth.
They had about six children; Lydia passed away on the 3 October 1922 at New Plymouth, Taranaki, New Zealand.[3]
