The 1881 England and Wales Census shows the couple and two children living in Carlwell Street, Tooting Graveney, Surrey, England.^[3] Sarah was 28 years old.

The 1891 England and Wales Census shows the couple, three children and nephew living in Recovery Street, Streatham, London, England.^[4] Sarah was 38 years old.
