Velona Jane King was born at Waterville, Maine, 12 Sep 1805, the daughter of Samuel King and Sarah Davis; ^[1] died at Minneapolis, Minnesota, 17 Sep 1885. ^[1]

She married at Calais, Maine, 13 Jun 1822, Silas Nowell Lane. ^{[1] [2] [3]}

Enumerated with her husband (called here "Saml L." Lane) and their sons, James and "Leondus", in the 1851 Census of Saint Stephen, New Brunswick. ^[4]
