Kate was born in 1863. She was the daughter of James King and Cornelia Andrews. She passed away in 1946.

Codicil Changes Will Beneficiary

TROY Feb. 2. — The will of Mrs. Kate Edwards, late of Troy, who died Jan. 24, names her three sons, Elmore King Edwards, Jonathan Ogden Edwards and Frederick Andrew Edwards as beneficiaries.

The will is dated Oct 14, 1937, and a codicil Jan. 12, 1946, the latter changing the executors from two sons to one, Elmore King Edwards, with whom she resided at 302 S. Market St., Troy.

Elmore King Edwards is bequeathed a solitaire diamond ring because of his kindness to his father while the latter was living; his grandmother's watch, $3000 in cash and $1800 of the proceeds from the sale of a home at 621 33rd St., West Palm Beach, Fla., which he had advanced for its purchase.

All other diamond rings and jewelry are given to Jonathan Ogden and Frederick Andrew Edwards. The latter, whose home is at Arlington, Va., is given articles of personal property and $3000. All other property is given to the sons in equal shares.

Inventory Filed

TROY, March 21. — An inventory and appraisement of the estate of Mrs. Kate King Edwards, late of Troy, filed In the probate court by Elmore King Edwards, executor, shows a value of $54,079.23 of which $22,005 is in real estate, included in the appraisal are 900 shares of Troy Sunshade Co. stock at $18,000; 44 shares of Corn Stock Scioto Land Co., $6600 and $2234.05 in United States bonds.

Troy property is appraised at $10,000; 640 acres in Cheyenne co., Nebraska, $11,975, and three lots in Martin co., Florida, $30. Mrs. Edwards' late home is at the comer of Race and Markets sts.
