Elizabeth Sabina King was born 08 Nov 1884^[1] in Derreen,^[1] County Galway, Ireland. She was the daughter of Edward Vincent King^[1] and his wife Bridget Walsh.^[1]

Note: this Derreen, known as An Doirín in Gaelic, is near Maam West, in the civil registration district of Oughterard, civil parish of Ross, County Galway. It should not be confused with two other townlands of the same name in County Galway: one to the East of the county (near Tuam) and the other in the West (coastal).
