Biography

James King Jr., son of James King, Sr. and Frances A. (Ragsdale) King, was born on 21 March 1845 in Tennessee.[1][2] He appeared on the census of 6 July 1860 in the home of his parents at West Half of County, Crittenden County, Kentucky.[3]

He married Martha Jane Suggs, daughter of Henderson Suggs and Elizabeth (Thomas) Suggs, on 2 August 1866 at Crittenden County, Kentucky.[2][1]

James died on 5 July 1930 at Mexico, Crittenden County, Kentucky[1] and was buried at Sulphur Springs Cemetery, Mexico, Crittenden County, Kentucky. His memorial has biographical material and links to those of family members.[2]
