I was Anne Davis, married a Hood. My mother was Marie King. Her father was William Monroe King. Her mother was Annie Lee foster from Taladega, Alabama.

Her grandfather was George Washington King. He said he was from Ireland He married the daughter of Elam Harrison-Celia Mae Harrison, in Mecklenburg, N C. we have never known who his parents were. I do have a list of William Monroe Kings children, and George Washington Kings children. Celia Mae caught her dress on fire in January of 1897, ran outside, and ended up burning to death.
