Private John Kingery served in the United States Civil War.

John was born in 1841 in Ohio, United States, the son of Henry and Nancy Ann (Dillon) Kingery.[1]

He married Elizabeth Jane Murnahan on 5 September 1861 at Lawrence County, Ohio.[2]

John enlisted in the 173rd Ohio Infantry in August 1864. He was discharged in July 1865.[3][4]

John died 13 February 1917 in Mason Township, Lawrence County. He is buried at the Kingry Cemetery in Lawrence County.[1][5]
